Job scope
- Effective interpretation and implementation of both internal and external Guidelines related to Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Lead comprehensive Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs)
- Participant and/or lead incident investigations and risk
- Act as primary Technical expert for management of change and modelling of hazardous chemical release, emergency planning and compliance with guideline
- Work with key stakeholders to evaluate the technical, safety and regulatory impact of proposed equipment
- Participate and contribute with the revision of site drawing, P & IDs and hazardous area classifications.
- Use system analysis tool to identify compliance needs and recommend feasible approach to compliance.
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical / Process Safety / Mechanical / Environment Engineering / Pharmaceutical
- Knowledge in safety Engineering, QRA or PHA
- 5 years practical experience in manufacturing (petroleum, chemical or active pharmaceutical ingredients).
- Good knowledge and application of stipulated code of practice (SS506, AP1510, Singapore Fire Safety Act) preferred
- Experience with Chemical release modelling software and combustible dust is preferred
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skill
