JOB OVERVIEWAs an Information Security Engineer, you will manage the Information Security and Compliance of CIBI including ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC2 and other IT Security related requirements. You will conduct risk assessment, information security gap analysis, specification preparations, and design Cyber Security/ IT security solutions and recommend strategic directions for area or unit.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts analysis of job/system requirements, specification preparation, and designs/implements IT security solutions, recommending strategic directions for area or improvements.
• Manages the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and operations to support IT/Cyber Security.
• Performs systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
• Define the Security architecture, making sure it meets the business requirements and performance goals as defined by the client's long-term direction
• Perform Risk assessment and mitigation for IT security concern.
• Perform asset management functions for all network-related assets according to current policies and procedures.
• Recommend business continuity improvements for network assets and systems
• Addresses the concerns of CIBI online clients (e.g., access problems of Infonet subscribers); advises online clients on action needed or consults/coordinates with internal parties responsible for action needed and provides immediate feedback to clients.
• Ensures the proper, complete and updated documentation of CIBI's technical architecture and technical procedures; ensures that technical support, systems maintenance, and upgrades can easily be decided on and acted upon due to well-maintained documentation.
• Assists the Department Head in formulating and enforcing IT Policies and Procedures on technical aspects regarding access, security, systems availability, and recovery relating to network and firewall systems.
• Ensures the proper, complete and updated documentation of user procedures (e.g., Procedures, User Guides) for both internal and external users; ensures the proper dissemination and user awareness of user procedures.
• Defines/prescribes the technical specifications for additional hardware that may be needed from time to time due to operational requirements
• Recommends for hardware upgrades as may be needed due to increasing volume of operational needs, increasing number of users, or due to technical compatibility with upgraded software already being used.
• Evaluates the operational effectiveness of the technical architecture from time to time; recommends for changes to the architecture as may be necessary to cope with changes in the business and operational condition and requirements of CIBI.
• Keeps abreast of latest trends and developments in Network and IT Security technologies: envisions the application of latest technologies to enhance the systems effectiveness and efficiency at CIBI; establishes the operational viability and financial feasibility of implementing such latest technologies.
• Participates in relevant Total Quality Management (TQM) discussion sessions; conforms and complies with Company-adopted TQM initiatives and programs.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology or any related course/degree
• Experience working with multiple project teams (business, IT network and security).
• Excellent system, network and IT Security troubleshooting skills using various toolsets.
• Advanced Knowledge in Cisco Networking Technologies. (routers, switches, wireless)
• Knowledge of Network Perimeter Security (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet firewalls)
• Knowledge on Web Security and EndPoint Security Devices, Cyber Security, ISO 27001:2013 and IT security compliance
• Strong technical understanding of Network, Router and Switch (Layer 2 & Layer 3), Wireless Network Infrastructure, Network Perimeter Security, (Network Firewall), Virtual Private network
