Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution in the region, is looking for a Infrastructure Architect to join their team. You will be a key driver of the technology strategy and play a critical role in developing, designing and implementing the organisation\'s infrastructure to meet the bank\'s evolving needs. You will bring the right mix of hands-on technical skills, who also possesses an extensive level of strategy experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the current pain points in the organisation\'s infrastructure, and developing a strategy for the infrastructure architecture
• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategic roadmap for the organisation, covering multiple areas such as cloud readiness and DC amongst many others
• Evaluating how the current software platform can be moved into the new strategic infrastructure, collaborating with multiple teams to communicate migration roadmaps to relevant stakeholders
• Defining architecture patterns and working with respective teams in the organisation to drive the architecture standardization of its subsidiaries

Requirements:

• More than 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with experience handling large scale IT infrastructure strategic projects
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies, such as server virtualisation, cloud computing, container platforms and infrastructure automation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Working experience in Technical/Solution Architecture roles is a big plus
