The Opportunity

The Innovation Manager Popeyes APAC will oversee the Popeyes Menu Development across a growing portfolio of countries in the APAC region. The mandate is to build on our global portfolio of products, rooted in Louisiana heritage, with great localizations. You will be part of the team that is making Popeyes the destination for fried chicken across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Actively partner with Regional and Global Marketing Teams, Field Teams, and Local Franchisees to drive the development and execution of POPEYES\xc2\xae innovation strategy in APAC
  • Manage the development and launch of new and existing food concepts for the APAC region from paper concept, sample screening to market launch
  • Provide guidance to local teams on product innovation, product standards and consumer testing
  • Play an instrumental role in developing, testing, and refining the Popeyes menu for new country launches leveraging global guidelines, market research, and consumer feedback
  • Project manage the implementation of innovation projects across the region working with Key Stakeholders to deliver outstanding products to our guests
  • Work directly with vendors to develop new products from initial benchtop samples through the commercialization process
  • Coordinate ingredient and product review of lab and production samples to ensure partners are delivering on product goals
  • Participate in food ideation sessions with internal and franchisee teams
  • Be a thought leader in everything menu and product for Popeyes in the APAC region
Education and Experience
  • 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of experience in product innovation in a food manufacturing company, the restaurant industry or an FMCG company
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a preference in Food Science / Food Engineering / Nutrition / Culinary related degree

  • Fluent business English
