Position OverviewThe In-Room Dining Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standard of quality in presentation, supervision and control of in-room dining service. The individual is a role model for the colleagues by providing sound advice, guidance and morale building and follow up tasks as assigned.The RoleIn-Room Dining Operations

  • Provide overall leadership and management for In-Room Dining
  • Analyze periodic revenue and cost reports, monitor actuals against budgets and provide commentaries and action plans to remain on track
  • Attend departmental meetings, line-ups and other training as scheduled
  • Manage the operations with the assistance of the F&B Supervisors
  • Hold briefing with colleagues for each shift and review occupancy forecast, reservations, special attention, complaints, problematic issues and others as deem appropriate
  • Be aware of clientele mix, seasonal periods and festivities and make recommendation to management for competitive analysis and budgeting purposes
  • Provide guest with an enjoyable and expertly served in-room dining experience
Drive Service and Operational Excellence
  • Handle guest complaints by following the procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated department/personnel for resolving the situation
  • Analyze guests\' feedback to ascertain guest service delivery gaps
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
Manage Team
  • Manage the human resources in the department to attract and retain employees
  • Review talent capability and develop high potential employees for the department
  • Identify training needs of the division and implement a training plan in conjunction with the department heads to close gaps
  • Support and actively participate in the planning and execution of the hotel\'s overall staff development and retention efforts
Talent Profile
  • Minimum Diploma education or equivalent
  • 7 years of supervisory experience at luxury hotels/resorts
  • Prior experience in managing a team in luxury hotels/resorts
  • Responsible and independent individual who can perform with minimum supervision
  • Ability to communicate with guests and internal stakeholders clearly and pleasantly
  • Possess Singapore\'s Food Safety Certification
