We are looking to hire an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Director where he/ she is responsible for leading and improving the Integrated Business Planning process for the APAC region. This position is based in Singapore and may require up to 30% regional and/or global travel.

In general, the person will: -

  • Lead the collaboration across all key functions to collectively design, improve and lead the IBP process for APAC region.
  • Facilitating aligned decision making through evaluating and revising projections for demand, supply, product and portfolio changes, strategic projects, and the resulting nancial plans
  • Lead ongoing governance across cross functional teams ensuring overall IBP process adherence, while championing IBP maturity improvements
  • Work with the global VCM team and other stakeholders to develop an effective PMR forum (step 1 forum) that will integrate the NPI pipeline into the IBP process.
  • Lead and coordinate the 5 step forum facilitators across markets to drive best practice sharing and process standardization.
  • Own the facilitation of the MBR process and work with the owner (APAC CGC) to drive strategic discussions, profitable trade-offs, and escalations to the global MBR.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates cross functionally to drive the 5 steps of the IBP process, through financial integration, focusing on demand plan valorisation, inventory management and overall business target setting.
  • Responsible for maintaining senior leader engagement in the IBP process to ensure that decisions are taken within the process.
  • Governs the cyclical IBP reviews with the appropriate Management Boards and facilitates Regional/ Global IBP forums
  • Governs IBP policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures
  • Monitors the IBP process on a continuous basis to measure process adherence and leads IBP process assessments.
  • Champions improvement efforts to increase IBP maturity
  • Drives transparent discussion of risks and opportunities through the IBP cycle
  • Collaborates cross functionally to drive profitable trade-off decisions
  • Responsible for influencing large-scale global and regional teams to collect, analyse, consolidate, and report key data, improving the decision-making process to bridge gaps vs. the BP (on revenue, profitability, and cash conversion cycle)
  • M inimum of a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Sciences is required. Master\'s Degree (MA/MS/MBA) is preferred.
  • Proven understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and/or Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) required - IBP certification preferred.
  • Proven understanding of the principles of finance to include preparation of business case, Net Present Value assessment and development of Cost of Goods standards is preferred. Financial / business planning certification desirable.
  • Has a good understanding of the financial flows and associated product flows, including tax strategies.
  • Demonstrates deep knowledge of best practices and benchmarks, corporate objectives, and resource availability to ID and prioritize continuous improvement projects
  • Has strong business acumen - Deeply understands the business; portfolio, markets, customers, challenges, demands
  • Broad understanding of Janssen business (Supply Chain/Commercial) is preferred.
  • Understanding of supply chain capabilities including cost of services that drive innovative solutions and respond quickly to customer needs is required.
  • Incorporates an integrated understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain to anticipate cross-functional impacts, interdependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) desirable
  • 5 Years related experience, preferably with People Leadership
  • Broad experience which translates to a comprehensive knowledge base of the pharmaceutical operations including manufacturing, planning, marketing, finance, distribution, and regulatory structures is preferred.
  • Experience in a Commercial/Marketing, Supply Chain or Finance roles
  • Experience across at least 2 of the above functional areas is essential
  • Experience in SAP & SAP APO (or equivalent Global ERP/ supply chain planning system) is preferred.
  • Ability to develop, coach and guide a leadership team in the execution, strategies, and realization of functional and company goals.
  • Ability to coach & develop accountable, diverse, and global leaders who inspire and motivate others.
  • Ability to influence and engage at all levels within the Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance & other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally to deliver results
  • A strong communicator with the ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms
  • Excellent verbal and written English proficiency required. Additional languages helpful
