:CNA\'s Digital team is looking for a data-savvy journalist to enhance our brand of storytelling and create a more impactful, engaging news experience for our audience.As an interactives journalist, you should be able to look at news events or developments, then flesh out understanding of it through data. You should also be able to look at numbers and then be able to identify trends that could be of interest to the news-reading audience.You should be skilled in cleaning and visualising data through charts and widgets via visualisation software such as Flourish or Tableau.Your goal is to produce data widgets for CNA\'s news reports, including specials such as long-form, deep-dive journalism and interactive web projects. - Must understand how to visualise data through charts, tables, maps etc
- Must be skilled in Excel
- Must be a self-starter; able to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Experience working in a newsroom is a bonus
- Familiarity with data visualisation and interactive web design platforms like Flourish or Tableau
