Join Sembcorp Specialised Construction

Sembcorp Specialised Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, provides design and build services with an in-house multidisciplinary consultancy. Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents. Support QS team in contract administration, procurement, and progress claims assessment. Conduct site measurements and assist in evaluating variations and cost control measures. Work with costing and estimation software to analyze project budgets. Assist in reviewing project specifications, contracts, and construction drawings. Conduct market research on material costs and supplier pricing. Support project teams in monitoring budgets and financial performance.
Prepare reports and documentation to track project costs and financial risks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Background in Infrastructure & Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Basic understanding of cost estimation, contract management, and procurement processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, or other quantity surveying software is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
