ING\xe2\x80\x99s regional presence includes a 13% stake in Bank of Beijing, China and a 30% stake in TMBThanachart Bank in Thailand.Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING\'s Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.What does the Research Team do in ING?We are a small team of four economists and one commodities strategist located across the region in Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila and Seoul. The Asia Pacific Team is part of a bigger Global Research Department that has around 70 employees \xe2\x80\x93 mostly in Western Europe, but also CEE countries, and the US.We provide support to our regional clients through presentations, published research and ad hoc requests. We have a strong media presence and are regularly on business TV and radio.We support our local colleagues through forecasts, country deep dives, risk assessments, and data analysis.
