Description of Role

The Life & Health Reinsurance Solutions team of Allianz Re has an opportunity for interns to assist in the technical pricing, research and treaty administrative tasks. This role is ideal for current students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the insurance and reinsurance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Involving in Life and Health business quotation, assisting in portfolio performance analysis & pricing.
• Assisting in market intelligence, update of market statistics and assumptions for pricing.
• Supporting the team in administrative tasks and treaty documents preparation.
• Assisting in data verification and claim analysis.
• Assisting L&H medical underwriter in preparing report, PPT slides.
• Any other duties, projects and tasks to support the team, as required.
• Assisting CSR leader to run various Allianz Re\xe2\x80\x99s CSR events.

Qualification, Certification and Experiences

• Currently studying towards a university degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or an insurance related field.
• Possesses the necessary papers to work in Singapore (i.e. Singapore Citizen, PR, Student Pass, etc.)
• Analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable in working with data.
• Proficient in MS Excel (Basic Functions & Pivot Table), PowerPoint, Words.

Internship Period

• Candidates should be able to commit either part-time (3 working days/week) or full-time for a period of at least 6 months.
• Immediate start
• Hybrid work arrangement
