As esteemed institution with a history that spans more than ninety years, the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (\xe2\x80\x9cSICCI\xe2\x80\x9d or the \xe2\x80\x9cChamber\xe2\x80\x9d) is one of Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s most respected and active commercial Association. SICCI has always been at the heart of business and trading in Singapore, right from its pioneer trading days in the 1920s.

Over the years, it has grown in stature to become what it is today: a dynamic, forward-looking, Association with a network of partners who span the globe.

The history of SICCI began in 1924 when \xe2\x80\x9cThe Indian Merchants Association\xe2\x80\x9d was founded with 30 Members. In 1035, it became \xe2\x80\x9cThe Indian Chamber of Commerce\xe2\x80\x9d and in 1991, in line with the robust growth and development of the Industrial and Commercial sectors in Singapore, the Chamber was renamed the \xe2\x80\x9cSingapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry\xe2\x80\x9d\xe2\x80\x99 to better reflect its objectives and role.

SICCI is the paramount focal point for the Indian business community. In this era of global trade liberalization, SICCI is well poised to offer great advantages to its members and the business community at large, through its well-established and fast expanding network.

Given its dynamism and foresight, the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue to pave the way forward and sustain its formidable position in Singapore.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contacting MNCs and recruit partners for Membership program
  • Closing Corporate Partnership deals
  • Meet monthly targets set by Membership Committee
  • Assist with Membership online registrations and renewals.
  • Contact potential Micro SMEs and Startups to promote SICCI membership and get them on board
  • Organise and schedule weekly Events team internal update with consolidation of info to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Compile, submit and track all financial payments and budget per event.
  • Raise all necessary Payment Orders and PR(s) for all events with timely submission.
  • Central logistics in charge for existing events logistics inventory. Ensuring that current stocks are in working conditions. Prior to the event, ensure that the required equipment is ordered and in place.
  • Source, contact and propose new venues for mall roadshows or outreach efforts with Marketing team.
  • Application of necessary event licenses for all events
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
