What will you do?

For our Biosciences Division (BID) for South East Asia and Taiwan (SE&TW) , we are looking to add a bright and driven Life Sciences intern to the Marketing team based in Singapore. The Biosciences division has been at the forefront helping us fulfill our Mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer this year more than ever with our instruments and consumables being used in efforts to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

The job responsibilities of the intern will be to:

• Support the BID Marketing team across SEATW in the execution and communication of tactics based on set strategies, with a focus on our Cell Biology and Protein and Cell Analysis portfolios
• Assist in the account and content management of our training tool Brainshark and our sales tool Alexandria
• Aid in the preparation of the virtual events and conferences
• Coordinate the printing and subsequent shipping of brochures from Singapore to our dealers in SEA

How will you get here?

Education :

• Currently enrolled in a Life Sciences/Biological Sciences university program in Singapore

Experience :

• None Required

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Marketing Manager for SEATw and gain valuable guidance and on-the-job training for a long term career. The successful candidate will learn:

• To use life sciences knowledge to practical application to help sell key products and consumables
• To understand the marketing life cycle and gain valuable product knowledge and application of science background in commercial strategy
• To understand content delivery and sales platforms. This is an added advantage for someone looking to build a fulltime career in technical sales or product marketing in the scientific instruments and consumables space.
• Develop and hone business acumen through regular interactions with cross functional teams including Sales and technical product specialists.
