JOB SUMMARY
Venture is a leading global provider of technology services, products and solutions with established capabilities spanning marketing research, design and development, product and process engineering, design for manufacturability and supply chain management. Venture has built know-how and intellectual property with expertise in several technology domains. These include life science, genomics, molecular diagnostics, medical devices and equipment, healthcare and wellness technology, lifestyle consumer technology, health improvement products as well as computing, printing and imaging technology.

Venture R&D team works with many customers who are leaders in their fields. In the field of Life Science, we are expanding our R&D team members to work on advanced instrumentation development that allows scientists and researchers to gain a better knowledge of how human cells function, right down to the DNA of the genome. At the same time, this body of knowledge allows us to come up with many tools to detect various pathogens (including Covid-19) and finding the preventive measures. Our R&D engineers are being challenged to develop new technologies and new solutions to address some of the technical issues faced by customers.

You will be contributing to the projects and deliver a wide range of state-of-the-art products meant for global markets, from conceptualization to mass production and eventually seeing the products in the market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc2\xb7 Innovate and Create value for Next Generation of advance complex system in lifescience instrumentation.

\xc2\xb7 Team responsible for hardware development, circuits design to ensure product requirements are met.

\xc2\xb7 Brainstorm and contribute Out of Box solution to create value for stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Learn and create system analysis to achieve optimized design solution to meet design specification, project schedule within cost target.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate board fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure specification compliance.

\xc2\xb7 Learn and work with manufacturing team through product cycle.

\xc2\xb7 Development and design opportunities in one or more of the following areas:

\xe2\x80\x93 Electronic circuit design from high voltage to high-speed digital logic systems. Example

\xc2\xa7 Embedded micro-processor system design

\xc2\xa7 IO standards and protocol such as USB, IR, LAN, Blue tooth, etc

\xc2\xa7 Power electronics - DC-DC, AC-DC converter, etc

\xc2\xa7 Analog - sensing technologies, signal conditioning, etc

\xe2\x80\x93 Developing and testing algorithms to ensure electronics, software and hardware integrated successfully.

\xe2\x80\x93 Boards bring up, testing and analysis of board to product level

\xe2\x80\x93 Reliability test to ensure design robustness

\xe2\x80\x93 Solving electronics challenges to create better, faster, more cost-effective solutions.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
\xc2\xb7 Major in Electronics/Electrical Engineering

\xc2\xb7 Interest in embedded microprocessor system design, power management electronics and small signal analog design

JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES
\xc2\xb7 Some knowledge in PC architecture, High Speed IO Bus protocols, signal integrity techniques and high speed hardware design

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of electronics fundamental and principles.

\xc2\xb7 Good team player with strong passion for product design.

\xc2\xb7 Show evidence how you have applied your technical knowledge to resolve issues.

\xc2\xb7 Enjoy collaboration and in-depth interaction across different functional teams including mechanical and software engineers ensuring solutions are functional.

\xc2\xb7 Simulation tools & programing skills (eg. PSpice, Python) is added advantage.
