-Join us as a Marketing Business Unit Intern in the Treasury – Trade Finance if you are ready to take the first step towards a successful career in the mining industry.

-The Structured Trade Finance (STF) Team within Anglo American (Marketing BU) is responsible for exploring & delivering financial adjacencies that add value to the Group’s physical commodity business. The STF intern will support the STF team in designing, building & implementing phases of operational framework through close teamwork with Commodity Trading Teams & Functional Support Teams.

• Identify processes to implement streamlining through the use of automation tools/system enhancements.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing for the Aspect trading system implementation for STF activities, looking for opportunities to systemize activities for efficiency and accuracy

• Enhance & automate Monitoring trackers, trade deal sheets, cashflow forecasts, monthly reporting for STF activities.

• Support in building implementation plans & presentations to internal & external stakeholders.

Qualifications
-Polytechnics students are welcome to apply:

• Academic credentials in Business, Banking, or Finance & Information Technology

• Basic understanding of Trading environment

• Excellent Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel

• Strong computer literacy

• Proficient in Macros, Visual Basic applications, pivot tables, python (added advantage)

• Interacts well with a diverse range of people (different nationalities, seniority)

• Open-minded and creative

• Maintains a positive mindset

• Cross boundary collaboration
