The Seagate Research Group, or SRG is the Research wing of Seagate. Our group charts the longterm technological strategy for Seagate and lay foundation for future products. SRG\xe2\x80\x99s Applied AI Section research areas and projects consist of: Edge-AI using State-of-the-Art Algorithms, Multi-modal Smart Video Surveillance fused with NLP, Sensor-fusion for Augmented Reality, Autonomous Vehicles and Machines, Co-Bots and Analytics for Predictive Maintenance etc
About the role - you will:
Work on one or more of these areas, depending on your interest and aptitude:
AI-Workload profiling and analysis
Applying Multi-modal Machine Learning Technique
Applying Neural Network Compression Techniques
Prototype of new ideas and concepts in Edge AI
3D or 2D Computer vision algorithms such as object detection, tracking and recognition
Fusion of Vision and NLP techniques in Video Surveillance Projects
About you:

Latest developments in Machine Learning and AI excites you,
Have Keen Interest in Programming with experience in Python, R, Java
Familiarity in ML Frameworks like Keras, Pytorch and Tensorflow
Possess Knowledge in Computer vision algorithms such as object detection, tracking and recognition,
3D computer vision \xe2\x80\x94 SfM (Structure from Motion) / SLAM
Have Demonstrated programming skills in C++/C, Python
Have Strong Foundation in Math (Linear algebra, Bayesian statistics, optimization)
Your experience includes:
Hands on experience developing ML projects using Python with Tensorflow or Pytorch
In addition, you are familiar of one or more the programming languages below C/C++, Java, C#, R, Perl
