About DBS CES Cloud Engineering and Services (CES) is home to a workforce of more than 400 cloud engineers who power the cloud technologies and infrastructure critical for DBS’ digital banking services and operations. Here in CES, employee experience is a priority, and we are constantly pushing the envelope to pursue innovative and meaningful ways to connect and engage with our staff. Responsibilities

  • The role resides within the central function/COO within CES and will be responsible for (1) internal communication and (2) employee experience within CES.
  • The ideal candidate will have a track record in employee engagement in large organisations, especially in the technology industry. He/she will have a repertoire of skills to influence desired outcomes, including through communication mediums (e.g. eDMs, intranet, townhalls, etc.) and intangible tactics (e.g. nudging behaviours etc.)
  • The position calls for someone that is enthusiastic, creative, and in touch with the preferences and inclinations of today’s tech workforce. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional that can hit the ground running and is comfortable taking ownership of his/her accountabilities.
Key Accountabilities

Internal Communications
  • Design, draft and produce various internal communication content (e.g. eDM, posters, articles, videos, etc.) across various mediums to engage staff and drive the department’s priorities.
  • Work with developers to design and maintain the department’s intranet site to boost engagement in a hybrid work environment, and leverage WordPress to automate processes.
  • Plan and organise Townhalls for internal employee communication and engagement.
Employee Experience
  • Devise and implement an employee engagement strategy in line with DBS’ values, and the needs of a tech workforce.
  • Track and analyse the unit’s annual engagement survey to identify opportunities and gaps to position DBS as an employer of choice.
  • Plan and run employee experience programs including in areas such as cohesion, appreciation and recognition, and wellness.
  • Conceptualise and execute employee experience programs to drive the department towards our envisioned culture.
  • Oversee and coordinate learning initiatives and programs.
Requirements
  • 3 to 6 years’ of relevant experience in communication and engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, or social sciences may be advantageous.
  • Experience working in a tech environment, familiarity with cloud technology and services, or experience with agile methodology is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in content creation, design of collaterals, UI/UX design, internal communication, and coordination.
  • Experience in planning, marketing, and organising events and campaigns.
  • Proficiency with WordPress will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites preferred.
