Job Description

Support the Intra-Asia business of Maersk in the APA region, via key contributions to internal corporate communications. You will keep the organisation engaged and informed about the strategy and transformation initiatives that are being executed. As Sealand Asia embarks on its integrator journey, this role will play an important part in the transformation by supporting our senior leaders to engage in conversations with our colleagues across different countries. You will manage the planning and development of communication strategies as well as execution on multiple channels ensuring alignment of the corporate direction and key messaging.

• Act as focal point for internal communication activities by developing, implementing, and improving on internal communication strategies, goals, and processes
• Support Sealand Asia Management, individual functions and countries on the development and execution of strategic communication campaigns
• Develop, manage and maintain content calendar for internal channels e.g. Yammer, Newsletter, etc.
• Manage asset repositories and platforms to ensure that tools and templates for communication are up-to-date and readily accessible
• Seek innovative ways to improve communication processes through digitization/automation and process improvements
• Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors and agencies (eg, printers, graphic designers, advertising agencies, media outlets) to use for communications
• Be responsible for collecting relevant information, and other meaningful data to be used in the development of communication content
• Develop and deliver materials with content of high quality, depth and relevance to be used in internal campaigns and business communications
  • Produce engaging written content that’s relevant to the organization’s narrative and key messages
  • Promote content across multiple channels, leveraging different forms of media
  • Share Intranet stories – success stories, achievements, milestones
  • Develop and manage CEO’s Vlogs and Q&A
  • Develop impactful PowerPoint presentations and cascade packs to support leadership with communications on high level initiatives, projects, change management etc.
  • Copywrite/Copyedit to align required content with Sealand Asia’s key corporate messages

• Knowledge and experience in corporate communications

• Strong leadership communication skills and the ability to simplify complex and technical topics
• Highly experienced in supporting senior stakeholders with their communication needs and deliver high-quality output, and having excellent collaboration and relationship skills
• Experienced in organizing and running virtual events leveraging various toolkits intended for engaging the audience
• Able to build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders by listening, advising and executing at a consistently high level
• An avid learner, able to work with diverse subjects and technical experts and turn their inputs into compelling communication with a strong link to the strategic transformation
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing, Media Relations, Internal Communications, or similar roles.
• BA degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or other related discipline.
• Native or near-native English speaker with superb writing and communications skills.
• Well-versed in communicating to different sets of audiences, using traditional channels and new digital platforms (including social media) to drive conversation and engagement
• Experienced in running campaigns through internal channels (i.e., Yammer) and across major social media channels
• Ideal candidates will be experienced in producing their own work in multiple formats, including live or virtual town halls, written content, podcast, video etc
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 tools – Teams, Yammer, SharePoint, etc.
