The company is addressing the $100B beauty industry in North America, mostly catered to today by traditional retailers Sephora and Ulta. Flip operates as a first-party retailer offering thousands of SKUs from leading beauty brands, reviewed by a community of digital creators contributing original content to the platform. All content reflects users' honest opinions on products they have selected to purchase and review and is instantly shoppable through a one-click checkout experience.Simply, Users discover products by flipping through instantly shoppable video reviews posted by the Flip community, at up to 30% off standard retail prices. Plus, every shopper can become a creator by posting their own video reviews of their purchases, and earn cash commissions through their content.Flip is expecting to launch in Asia in 2022 and looking for all-star members to join the Flip team.The Flip International team is dedicated to the success of our International partners, and responsible for the full compliance of all our operational and procedure policies. We're looking for a Manager who can work closely with our local partners ensuring success and establish best practices that form our Global playbook for FL!P.You will be in charge of growing the business with our local Partners is Asia. You will launch new markets, develop partnerships with the in-country teams, dive into data to assess performance at the lowest level of detail, and solve complex operational and product problems for partners in our fastest-growing markets.You will play a key role in planning, support management, operational execution, and continuous improvement of Flip's activities in each Territory.
Our vision is to be recognized as a valued business partner & world-class retailer, focused on excellence in our people, services, and execution.You will identify staffing needs in each territory, supports partner recruitment plans to ensure appropriate staffing is in place, and trained, to meet its business objectives and new development plans.You will also work closely with local partners, as well as our internal audit team to ensure internal compliance and financial reporting goals are achieved.The ability to translate technical and business requirements is critical in this role. The pace can be fast, and this role requires someone who is driven, sweats the details and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Help scope, launch, and grow the Flip in SEA markets,
  • Help identify new markets for the Flip, develop GTM plans, and build capacity in-market to set the foundation for growth.
  • Develop deep and meaningful relationships with local partners as well as local flip teams around the world, laser-focused on accelerating growth
  • Develop enablement materials, train and coach in-country managers ("partners") to drive growth.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance and logistics in coordinating operations.
  • Operational process efficiency, documentation, and execution to ensure all internal FLIP processes are documented, streamlined, and executed with high rate of success.
  • Uncover insights from data and make recommendations to in-country teams and partners
  • Consistent evaluations in responsible market, with follow up and training to local Partners to execute the same evaluations
  • Manage against monthly dashboard results, and correlating people gaps in Partner business.
  • Successful time and task management of new market timelines through current project management tools.
  • Oversight and support, to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • In all territories; ensure consistency, conformity and accuracy (from batch generations to order picking and packing).
  • Support local Partner in each local territory with any operations issues that may arise on a Day-to-day basis, as well as handle any and all local operational issues that may arise due to GLOBAL platform performance.
  • Work together with local teams and training department to execute hands on training for our partners at every level or their organization
  • Work together with all key stakeholders in our business to be up-to-date, relevant and driving the FLIP goals and initiatives
  • Create Staff training processes to improve all Partner operations based on each territory.
  • Provide leadership to local partners through coaching, mentoring, and motivating to support local operations.
  • Help drive the execution of FLIPS' strategic initiatives and ensure each local Partner readiness, ensuring goals are met and initiatives are completed on time.
  • Accountable for the execution of our FLIP enhancement process and other key FLIP initiatives to improve efficiency or add value to existing process and workflows in local territories.
  • Project management accountability for FLIP back-end local integration and analytical solutions to resolve technical issues that may arise with local partners within the APP.
  • Execution of quarterly operational audits and remediation.
  • Provide monthly operational summary, as well as quarterly and year-end reporting for each territory.
  • Support Int'l finance, audit, and other partners as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • You have 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, and management; including high-growth or early-stage technology startup experience.
  • You have a BA/BS degree or an additional 4 years of work experience in business fields
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentations skills (English)
  • Have client-facing software or hardware deployment experience
  • Spearhead initiatives, work cross-functionally, and succeed in a team environment
  • Draw meaningful insights and provide recommendations by analyzing complex datasets
  • You have high proficiency in excel and can create executive-facing presentations
  • Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
  • Willing to Travel to USA for training and quarterly presentations.
  • Willing to Travel within southeast Asia on a monthly basis to visit local partners
