Job Description


The main responsibilities are:

  • Operationalization of International Postal products and its network development. This is to translate UPU and other Postal products and services requirements into processes and systems for Operations so that mail flows will be accepted and delivered within the postal framework without issues. The requirements can range from working with GDT on postal IT systems, working out the process flows for operations, ensuring that the correct information is filled in for the different postal products.
  • Representing International BU as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Point of Contact for Postal-related matters with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise and coordinate within the BU to negotiate bilateral agreements with Postal Partners based on International postal strategy and market requirements.
  • Liaise and coordinate within the BU for UPU EMIS Messages - these are UPU messages from UPU and other postal operators which has operational, compliance and financial implications.
  • Liaise with Operations on Open/Closed Transit Mail for both Singapore and requests from other postal administrations.
  • Terminal Dues management which includes Sampling & Format Separation requirements and Analysis of traffic profile.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of new Postal products.
  • Work on Development of New and Enhancing Existing Postal Products in Asia Pacific under the Asia Pacific Post Cooperative (APPC) and ASEANPOST and PRIME Cooperative.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree holder
  • Experience in logistics and freight industry. Candidate with knowledge of postal processes and compliance knowledge will be preferred.
  • Analytical, methodical mindset to address cross border postal matters and issues.
  • Ability to travel and work with colleagues of different time zone.
