What the role is
As the community leadership development arm of the People’s Association (PA), National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) aims to equip our learners with the relevant skillsets and growth mindset so that they can contribute actively and effectively to community building and citizen engagement efforts in Singapore. We are currently seeking interns to participate in the PA Structured Internship Programme with NACLI between Sep 2022 and Feb 2023. The internship is a great opportunity for you to appreciate PA’s mission of building and bridging communities. At the same time, you will gain industry exposure and practical skills through working on meaningful Learning & Development-related projects/assignments which are aimed at supporting NACLI’s capability building efforts. What you will be working on
The interns will be supporting the institute faculty team in both project management and programme innovation aspect of L&D. Work scope include: • Work with module developers to conceptualise, design and develop learning tools such as interactive videos, bite-sized mobile learning packages, learning games, etc. • Coordinate and manage training programmes including liaising with other departments on training administration and logistic arrangement Learning objectives include: • Understand how digitalisation and technology advancement impact the world of work, especially in Learning & Development sector • Manage the planning, production and delivery of digital learning contents • Apply user experience design concept to produce learner-centric digital deliverables which could include gamification, immersive learning and bite-sized learning • Synthesise offline and online learning modalities to create an integrated learner experience • Apply communication skills through collaborating with others to work toward a common goal • Practise time management skills through managing project demand, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines • Leverage critical thinking skills through involvement in analysing and evaluating project issues and creating solutions to challenges
