Job Description


What: Assist with information technology support and troubleshooting ensuring the highest level of computer performance, efficiency and security.

Your Goals: To ensure hotel hardware, software and all IT related systems are functioning and assist guests with IT related services (testing of wifi connectivity issues)

Your Role: A. Assist with Incident Resolution
1. Provide support on IT related services B. Maintain Systems
1. Inspect, test and diagnose computer equipment/systems (Windows 11, etc)
2. Provide end-user support for all applications
C. Provide IT Support
1. Provide network communications support
2. Install, configure, manage, maintain, test and evaluate computer networks and workstations
3. Create user accounts and setup computer, telephone and other IT related equipment
4. Troubleshoot, modify, support, manage and maintain application programs and user accounts
5. Maintain inventory of all technological hardware and devices
6. Support Corporate IT in new initiative set up or implementation where applicable

Health & Safety (General)
  • Understand and strictly adhere to the Guidelines established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • Identify and report any maintenance requirements and hazards in the work place, and report significant issues to your Manager.
  • Stay abreast of changes in your expertise and comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, hygiene, health and safety.
  • Be at all times conscious of the security of the hotel, guests and guest\xe2\x80\x99s belongings.
General
  • Respond to changes in your function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
  • Undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Management.
  • Be prepared to work on a flexible schedule and shifts.
  • Reflect our local culture, heritage, history, and be knowledgeable and share our art and craft concepts, and how they relate together.
