Overview1. Regional Server and Storage Systems

• Assists in the strategic planning for, and is responsible for implementation of, additions, deletions and modifications to the regional server infrastructure.
• Provides tier 3 support for global systems serving APAC, collaborating with Richmond to ensure 24/7 availability and seamless cross-time-zone operations.
• Designs and tests disaster recovery plans, oversees daily backups using Veeam, and ensures compliance with corporate recovery time objectives.
• Participates in global monitoring of the enterprise as needed, monitors and improves uses of OpManager as requested by Corporate, collaborating with Richmond to maintain 24/7 system availability across time zones.

2. User Support

• Responds to escalated help desk issues using ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, ensuring resolution within SLAs.
• Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and escalate technical and business issues as necessary.
• Works with Corporate to provide seamless global helpdesk support.

3. Enterprise Asset Management

• Coordinate closely with Richmond to form an optimal regional asset strategy.
• Manages the regional purchase of hardware, software and IT services in support of regional server and storage infrastructure

QualificationsSKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficient in all aspects of Windows Server Administration
• Proficient in all aspects of server hardware administration
• Effective diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to organize work and establish a routine to ensure completion of repetitive tasks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse global teams
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational emergencies
• Operational Knowledge of Veeam Backup and Recovery product suite
• Scheduling and Job Submission knowledge of Autosys, or equivalent job scheduler
• Understanding of basic job scripting, including DOS, SQL and Powershell

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• Professional tier certification in Microsoft (MCSE/MCITP)
• Professional certification in VMware (VCP)
• Experience with SAN/Shared Storage Architectures
• IT certifications from

o ITILv3 certification or related
o Other Hardware/Software Vendor certification (HPE, Apple, Citrix)
o BICSI/LAN certifications
o Project Management (PMA)
