Job Description

IT Associate is responsible for all work activities in relation to the POS Operation and other network and system activities in order to support the achievement of the IT Department's goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Performs first-level problem determination and resolution which includes but are not limited to the ff: Hardware and Software Troubleshooting, any POS Error, Price Change Error, Stock Code Error, Printing/Z-Reading Error Assists users and answers basic user inquiries for the point-of-sale/point-of-service system and other IT systems for which he/she has been trained Installs POS servers, POS terminals, user workstations and related IT equipment Operates the POS which includes but are not limited to the ff: Updating and monitoring of Stock Codes, Price Changes, Payment Methods, editing of system and human errors, installation of updated INCTL, POSCTL, SACTL to stores and head office system Maintenance and operation of FTP system Generate POS data reports Coordinates with the IT Department of different malls in compliance of the POS/Network requirements Assists in preventive maintenance procedures on a regular basis Resolve problems occurring from application programs Ensures accurate and timely completion of computer processes Performs and maintains periodic back-up of information tapes and other storage media Transfers authorized files electronically (completely, accurately and on-time) Performs other duties as may be assigned Ensures that the only authorized users are allowed to access IT work-function/documents and equipment including PCs and POS servers / terminals, and network equipment Maintaining of the servers, NAS, Departmental drives, VPN system, back up of files Monitoring of CCTV of the storesJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
