Installs POS terminals, MSPG terminals, user workstations, servers and other IT-related equipment as approved by his Area Manager or that of Head Office.
Conducts regular checking of IT assets in the branch to ensure compliance with agreed uptime.
Performs first-level troubleshooting and repair of IT assets in the stores, both mall-based and offsite.
Ensures that all reported incidents and service requests are fulfilled within the approved service level agreement.
Ensures maintenance of good housekeeping in the IT Office including the safekeeping of tools provided for their daily operations.
Assists 3rd party personnel during the resolution of escalated incidents, preventive maintenance of IT equipment, survey for network projects, and others as directed by head office.
Implements application updates using written guides by second level support teams at the head office.
Collaborates with service customers thru branch meetings and pep-talks to be well-informed of store events and expected support from Branch IT.
Performs other IT-related duties deemed necessary for business continuity.
Education & Experience:
Degree holder of any computer-related course.
At least 2-year relevant work experience.
Willing to travel across branches.
Knowledge on POS systems is an advantage.
