Role: Business Analyst & Project Manager

As a Business Analyst & Project Manager, you will be responsible for bridging business needs and technology delivery in the

data, apps, and AI space

. You will work closely with customers, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage backlogs, and lead Agile delivery. This includes facilitating ceremonies, managing project timelines, coaching customers on Agile practices, and ensuring successful implementation of secure, scalable data, application, and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements by working closely with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams Drive user story creation, including Definition of Done (DoD), prioritisation, and acceptance criteria Own and maintain the product backlog together with the customer's product/project manager, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and updated Monitor user stories to ensure developers update required fields (estimation effort, actual effort, status, etc.) Facilitate Product Backlog / Program Increment sessions with customers and internal teams Plan and run Sprint Backlog sessions, Sprint reviews, and Sprint retrospectives with customer and team Take ownership of overall project planning, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring deliverables meet agreed scope, time, and budget Provide team management, coordination, and support to ensure smooth delivery Conduct Agile workshops and coach customers on Agile concepts, ceremonies, and best practices Work with developers to create, review, and maintain test cases to ensure quality deliverables Gain in-depth knowledge of the assigned project to act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for future needs Serve as an Agile coach and practitioner representing Deeeplabs to clients Support pre-sales activities such as scoping sessions, proposal preparation, and client presentations

About You

Proven experience delivering at least 3 Agile projects in a combined Business Analyst and/or Project Manager capacity Strong ability to articulate how Agile projects are planned and executed, with clear understanding of risks and mitigation strategies Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements Added advantage if you have been involved in

Data Analytics, Applications Modernisation, and/or Generative AI projects

using Agile methodologies Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage C-level stakeholders and facilitate workshops Proficient in using Azure Boards or Jira for backlog management and reporting Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage Passion for coaching and mentoring stakeholders and team members * Technical background and experience with Azure or AWS is an added advantage
