IT Business Partner cum Project Manager:

The candidate is expected to ensure successful delivery of the project and IT activities to the ST Engineering business entities in a particular sector or region and support the business IT requirements.

As Business Partner, the candidate is required to coordinate the work of other IT professionals, business users and administrative staff to achieve the required business outcomes. The core elements of the job are about organizing people, time and resources, and seeing the project and business IT requirements through from inception to completion and on-going IT operations. The candidate will have ultimate responsibility for meeting the business\'s or client\'s needs.

As Project Manager, the candidate plans, monitor and controls information technology projects to ensure that they are successfully implemented in accordance to stated project goals and objectives. The candidate is required to organise and integrate cross functional teams for the successful delivery of the assigned projects.

The IT Business Partner cum Project Manager would typically be knowledgeable about processes and practices in the business domain to which the IT system is to be deployed.

In performing the role, the candidate is expected to do the following:

• Understand the business IT requirements and document it clearly
• Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identify resources needed
• Develop schedules and methods for measuring results
• Secure agreement and approval from the business entities for the project
• Guide and perform strategic analysis for the project
• Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion and successful deployment of the system, local and overseas
• Assemble and coordinate project team members; assign individual responsibilities
• Prepare requests for proposals and conduct all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products
• Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications.

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Management or equivalent
• Professional qualification in Project Management
• At least 5 years\' experience in developing and implementing major IT systems, at least 3 years of which should be in a project management or project leadership role
• Demonstrable IT project management skills and proven track record in managing large IT projects from inception to successful deployment would be an added advantage
• Experience working with overseas partners and stakeholders
• Experience in IT infrastructure set up projects
• Experience in SAP ERP systems preferred
• Cybersecurity knowledge
