Wilhelmsen IT Services is looking for a new key member of our global team, based in Singapore.

In addition to the Office 365 tools, we utilize the functionalities in ServiceNow to automate as much as possible, enabling our team to focus on user interaction, along with technical issues that may require physical attention. We also focus highly on providing great service, so monitoring user satisfaction and identifying improvement potential is an integral part of this role.

This role will also coordinate local activities related to implementation of new business applications, infrastructure changes as well as management of local IT vendors.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify end user training needs, provide input on training material, and arrange training sessions with special focus on Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Being part of the 2nd Line team, assist 1st Line team when required, identify recurring issues and automation opportunities and report to line manager.
  • Ensure local support in Applications, Network management, Server management, Order fulfilment, IT governance and IT security.
  • Follow up with local vendor on contracts, identify needs and renewal cycle, liaise with Business associates and Vendor & supplier management.
  • Provide Local Deskside Support.
  • Ensure incidents and requests registered in global helpdesk system are handled according to SLA/ GSM principles and guidelines.
  • Advice on IT investment budget.
  • Provide accurate reporting as required.
  • Act within the corporate governance policy.



Job Requirement

Required experience and skills:
  • Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Able to understand & convey complex IT scenarios.
  • Possessed service minded attitude and ability to communicate with all levels within the business.
