OPPORTUNITY:

Gates is looking for an experienced regional IT leader to lead our IT teams located across the APAC region in Greater China, East Asia (Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore), India and Australia in driving transformation changes. The role requires proven experiences in managing senior leaders in a matrix organization with strong project execution skills in ERP (SAP and Oracle), shopfloor and digital solutions.

Reporting directly to the VP IT EMEA, this role will be based in Singapore.

YoUR Responsibilities:

• You are the liaison between IT and the APAC business leaders and a trusted advisor to the business units. You are responsible for understanding the business requirements, in managing demand and ensuring that projects are prioritized and aligned with the global and regional roadmaps.
• You will work closely with the business units in preparing business case justifications and ensuring the business sponsors understand the technology solutions, overall solution delivery and compliance to governance processes and architecture standards.
• You will work closely with the global, regional and local project stakeholders in managing impact to the organization, processes and data to drive adoption of the new technologies.
• You will provide thought leadership in developing the APAC IT strategy and drive the implementation of IT roadmap activities to support efforts to achieve organizational objectives. You are required to develop and manage relationship with external service providers to help accomplish the required objectives.
• You are part of the IT Leadership team and will work closely with global business process owners and Corporate IT to drive global standardization and harmonization of our business and IT models.
• You are responsible for the APAC IT annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets and monthly rolling forecasts; and monitors IT spend.
• You are a people manager and will be responsible in developing a high performing multi-cultural and multi-national team.

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT leadership in managing and developing multi-national and multi-cultural IT teams in APAC.
• Minimum of 15 years of proven track record in managing ERP (SAP and Oracle) and shopfloor MES and digital solutions in a manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience managing senior leaders in a complex and global matrix organization. Strong interpersonal and partnership capabilities across multiple levels within the company and locations.
• Budget management (OPEX and CAPEX) capabilities of up to USDxM.
