Job Description
*
- Knowledge of LINUX technologies such as HA clustering, LPAR and Virtualization especially troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Redhat Linux Server Support, for operation and implementation
- Identify and resolve system issues / incident in a timely manner
- Systems running on Linux platforms and OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization
- Demonstrable experience in Linux Administration and support HA technologies
- Experience on Installation, Administering, Patching, Upgrade of Unix/RedHat Linux
- Responsible for day-to-day support, manage the infrastructure environment assist in troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Installs and monitors Linux open-source operating systems.
- Monitors and applies patches as required for best practices on all platforms and applications.
- Identifies, documents, manages, and resolves issues.
- Provides setup and support for Disaster Recovery environment.
- Creates and manages scripts for Linux management.
- Reviews patches for applicability to the environment.
- Provides patch process for Linux servers to sustain team.
- Day shift
