How you will make a difference @ FARO Independent of supervision you will: \xc2\xb7 Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal systems software and hardware. \xc2\xb7 Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a diverse environment. \xc2\xb7 Monitor backups and plan for installed systems \xc2\xb7 Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. \xc2\xb7 Communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. \xc2\xb7 Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades. \xc2\xb7 May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects. \xc2\xb7 May conduct training programs designed to educate an organization\xe2\x80\x99s computer users about basic and specialized applications. \xc2\xb7 May be client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and Outsourcing functions. \xc2\xb7 May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
