Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure.
• Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business sales requirements, goals with profitability.
• Managing IT budgets, forecast, handling cash flow in a cost-effective manner.
• Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes.
• Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software.
• Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
• Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively at an optimum level.
• Implementing effective cyber security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems.

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred.
• Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science with at least five years’ experience in IT operations or two-plus years of IT department supervisory experience.
• Proven knowledge of Apps administration, Microsoft Windows, service desk and network administration is necessary.
• Project management with the proven ability to prioritize, handle risk, control costs, adhere to timelines and manage project teams.
• Working knowledge of in-house computer networks and the ability to explain complex systems and the changes made necessary to identify upgrades is an asset.
• Experience in Web development, virus removal, cleaning infected hard drives and stripping hardware after a security breach occurs.
• Knowledge of or experience in cloud architecture.
• Experience coordinating installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Skills to understand and oversee code development.
• Mature, meticulous, proactive and resourceful.
• Leadership ability to assess candidates, train new IT staff, supervise and motivate team members for high performance.
• Bilingual in Mandarin & English to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems and a good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques.
• Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
