To work on projects led by Germany HQ and provide Network Support for Asia and other regions
Roles & Responsibilities:
To perform troubleshooting support for problems related to LAN and WAN connections, computer hardware/software and application systems.
Service and support of all network & telecommunication, front office, back office, architectures & network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), WIFI, servers, security controls, PCs & peripherals; etc and ensuring implementation are in accordance with the agreed design.
Monitor all systems and ensure all IT services are meeting service level agreement and issues are being resolved in a timely manner.
On site or remote IT support for IT hardware/software, follow up to remediate the vulnerabilities and/or threats and network related issues on users’ PC.
Review all technical support related processes and documentation for continuous improvement.
Desired Skills and experience:
Infrastructure
Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Security is a must.
Initiation of changes/administration is not required in this function.
Network Services DHCP / DNS / Active Directories
Basic knowledge is required.
Limited changes and administration are to be carried out.
Server operation of Windows and Citrix
Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Citrix is required.
Initiations of changes/administration are not required.
Windows front-end operating system including software distribution, front end security, etc
Basic knowledge is required
Initiations of changes/administration are not required.
Lotus Notes
Knowledge not requires as can be obtained during training
Phone System
Knowledge not required, can be obtained during training
SAP/ERP
Knowledge and experience in the modules SD, MM, WM and PP are required.
Solution provider for first and second level tickets.
Local point of contact for process questions and optimization.
Project Management
Experience and knowledge in Project Management is required.
Project implementation in co-corporation with the local affiliates and Head Quarter.
Programming skills are not required.
Internet
Basic knowledge is required.
Personal skills and attributes:
At least 3-5 years’ experience in an IT System/Network Admin role preferably from a MNC
Excellent English communication skills both verbally and written
Adaptable and open to different cultures
Degree in Computer Science / Telecommunications / Information Technology or any relevant qualifications
Relevant IT experience
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel
Special working conditions:
Traveling required in the Asian region one week a month.
Traveling to HQ in Germany shall be expected ones to twice a year

University
