The Opportunity
We are looking for an IT Project Manager who will be responsible for defining, planning, executing and closing Projects for our client's Global Infrastructure Services department. This task involves creating and monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures, organizing and running stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office 365 applications and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Creating, maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
Organizing and running stakeholder meetings
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle
Run multiple projects whilst maintaining quality and control
Ensuring project deadlines are met
Determining project changes and documenting decisions
Undertaking project tasks as required
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
Create project plan and management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
Capture meeting notes and distribute to the project team
Communicate / coordinate outages required for implementations
Escalate issues that will impact the scope, schedule or budget
Maintain project status in Portfolio tool
Assure resource allocations to projects are recorded in Resource Management system and appropriate for work to be accomplished
Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors and other departments including third parties if any
Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Your Background
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required
PMI/PMP Certification a plus; CSM Certification a plus
Solid experience in Change Management, Project Management, and process improvement
Has 4+ years' experience in planning and scheduling of major projects
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation including client facing skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Specific experience with IT Infrastructure and Engineering projects, including Servers, Storage, Network, DBA, Data Centers, High Performance Computing and Cloud based hosting solutions
Prior experience leading new site setup, expansion, new technology implementation including migration projects
Competency in Microsoft applications including Office365 tools such as MS Project
Experience in knowledge file management, transcription and other administrative procedures
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Mindfulness, effective negotiating, consulting and coaching skills
Good presentation skill
Experience in SDLC models, such as waterfalls and Agile for project implementation, is an advantage
