Job Description

• Lead and manage the MIS team and identify their career and development needs.
• Manage the IT infrastructure that includes administration of the system, budgeting and overseeing IT needs of the institute in both Singapore & Malaysia Campuses.
• Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure to support the institute operations, leveraging on technologies and information resources.
• Develop and implement IT policies, operations procedures & standards to meet ISO 9001 requirements and industry best practices to achieve operational efficiency.
• Liaise and facilitate with internal and external parties to ensure the institute\'s capability and to align operation processes to comply with information security, personal data handling and data protection procedure.
• Work closely with departments to understand business and operational needs by proposing recommendations and plans for software applications, system integration and to meet business objectives and improve work processes.
• Lead & manage IT project execution and delivery, to ensure the project is delivered within timeline and budget.
• Source, evaluate and manage vendor/s for procurement of IT infrastructure (hardware and software) and its application, where relevant.
• Manage vendor services that include drafting of Technical Document for RFQ/RFP, contract negotiation, service evaluation and contract management.
• Establish and implement new initiatives for enhancing and updating software and systems that will support the institute\'s existing and prospective business strategies.

Requirements:

• Master\'s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position and preferably have worked in educational institutions with strong technical background & knowledge.
• Experience in IT systems & applications, information system and project management.
• Experience in procurement, vendor management and team management.
• Good working knowledge in IT infrastructure: Microsoft Windows, Hyper-V, SAN Storage, firewall and networking (LAN / WAN), etc.
• Independent and team orientated.
