Responsibilities

Identify potential risks and opportunities in Airwallex\'s IT ecosystem;

Effectively represent and communicate engineering\'s perspective in cross-functional spaces;

Cooperate and coordinate with cross-functional departments (e.g. legal, operations, commercials) to obtain and maintain our global set of licenses and certifications;

Partner with engineering leadership to track, report and deliver on OKR;

Continuously improve Airwallex Engineering OPEX - Operational Excellence (process, people, technology).

Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;

Previous experience in engineering management or as management consultant;

Analytical and strong organizational skills;

Strong written communications;

Effectively communicate using data storytelling and make data-driven decisions;

Effectively work with executive stakeholders (CTO, VPs, etc).

Bonus:

MBA or relevant graduate degree;

Previous experience working on GDPR, SOC1/SOC2, etc;

Previous experience working in rapidly scaling startups and/or fintech (non-crypto);

Write python and use data science libraries (pandas, scikit - learn).
