Position Summary: This role provides Global Equity Derivative and front office and back-office application support to the Singapore GED Desk. The individual will work closely with the business in the support of the application both in house and vendor solutions which are used by the trading and Ops group. This role will require extensive front office and back-office interaction and provide a required support to them including Batch management, whilst managing and overseeing implementation of enhancements and upgrades provided by the development team. / Accountabilities: This position includes assessing and resolving production system issues, responding to urgent front office requests and adhoc reporting needs The support of daily Incident, Problem and Change management process and prompt business communication. Support of internal/vendor Pricing, Aggregation and Execution platforms. Monitoring / Support for Sophis Risqu , ECN and Integrated trading Platform. Build strong relationship with the global team to improve the support provided by the team Qualifications / Skills / Attribute: Highly motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results 4-7 years' experience in a fast-paced technology support environment (Preferably in the banking sector). An understanding of Sophis Risqu platform and Equity Derivative Markets or equivalent experience will be an added advantage The analyst requires insight of the Equity business, market trends, and detailed knowledge of trade transaction flow An understanding of system architecture and IT processes. Executing queries, building Use Case Scenarios for business requests and small enhancements Good working knowledge of sql, unix, windows, Autosys batch schedule and ability to create adhoc reports using these tools. Ability to work, troubleshoot, and deliver high quality results in a fast paced and demanding environment. Strong conceptual, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills and can work effectively in a complex trading environment while managing multiple priorities. Ability to manage businesstechnology priorities and escalate issues promptly. Good team player with strong interpersonal (both verbal and written) communication skills Be able to work and liaise with external vendors on support issues Be able to work independently with minimum supervision Must be self-motivated, energetic and results oriented as well as committed to adding value to the organization Work outside of regular hours may be required Experience in Excel and VBA Skills to assist in Pricing Issues Ready to work in Weekends on Demands Mandatory Technology/Platform knowledge: Issue analysis and debugging.
