Job Overview:



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Assistant to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on installing and configuring laptops with Windows for new employees, ensuring all necessary software is installed, and setting up (mobile) printers. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills in English, a solid understanding of IT support, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with an international team across Europe, the Middle East, and India via Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities:



Set up, configure, and prepare Windows laptops for new employee onboardings, ensuring all required internal software and tools are installed. Install and configure (mobile) printers for end-users, ensuring compatibility and connectivity. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laptops, software, and printers. Install and configure email accounts on laptops and company mobile devices. Ensure all devices meet company security and compliance standards. Support employees with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, formatting, and troubleshooting spreadsheet issues. Respond to IT support tickets promptly and accurately using the company's ticketing system. Maintain up-to-date documentation of device setups, software installations, and IT processes. Maintain local IT assets and inventory. Collaborate remotely with the IT Director in Europe and provide regular progress updates. Work with a region-wide IT team across Europe, the Middle East, and India via Microsoft Teams. IT offboarding responsibility with sense of security measures. Occasional weekend support on server especially during power shut down. Managing local offices security system such as CCTV, office door access.

Requirements:



1) Experience:

Previous experience in a hands-on junior IT support role, focusing on laptop and printer setup. Familiarity with software installation and troubleshooting on Windows devices.
2) Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of networking, including Wi-Fi and printer connectivity. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of email configuration on both desktop and mobile platforms.
3) Soft Skills:

Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong problem-solving skills with a user-friendly approach.
4) Additional Assets:

Experience with IT ticketing systems. Basic understanding of IT security and compliance standards. Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across different time zones.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,300.00 per month
