About the Role

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual contributor to be part of our Business Information Xervices (BIX) team as an IT Support Specialist. Your experience in IT Support Services in a logistics environment will aid our organization to resolve and improve technical issues and processes. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong proactive approach to resolve technical issues, a champion of technology and product and should have good strategic thinking and business acumen. What You’ll Do: Primary Day-to-day IT operations:

  • Service Requests, Incident, Problem and Change Management
  • Identify and correct problems as they arise
  • Provide support for online and on-call. On-call availability will be required 24/7 for urgent issues
  • Provide support for troubleshooting all tech-related issues raised by Operations Team
Secondary Day-to-day IT operations:
  • Provide remote online support and onsite support if needed.
  • Provided functional and technical support, troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues, including desktop, and laptops.
  • Provide support for Windows & OSX issues and other PC software related issues.
  • Install and set up new and rebuilt computers including installing Windows and any necessary software.
  • Install and set up new office equipment (printers, scanners, fax machines, copiers, etc)
  • Perform minor hardware repairs (e.g, replace a hard drive, upgrade memory, etc)
Project Management
  • Knowledgeable in creating Project Plans with Scope of Work, Timeline, Resources and Cost
  • Manage Project implementation from start to finish
Service Level Management
  • Implement continual service improvement plans to maximize the value of technology in delivering business outcomes.
  • Manage Vendors and Suppliers who render services to QuadX
  • Manage IT Inventory
  • Manage Contract Negotiations and Renewals

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Logistics Operations. Some technical systems related to logistics experience will be helpful
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in IT Support or IT Service Management
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a teamplayer - works well with teams as a team member or as a leader
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to and manage measurement metrics.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides or their MS counterparts are essential.
  • Working Knowledge (conceptual or applied) of IT Service Management
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities, coupled with Strong Detail Orientation, that enable you to manage through customer requirements
  • Good experience on Project Management whether in School or in previous employers.
  • Demonstrate understanding of how technology supports QuadX's strategy and business outcomes in every customer interaction
  • Confident but compassionate professional with the ability to influence and build credibility in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills; excellent writing, editing and presentation development skills; able to effectively articulate technical details, solution possibilities, and corresponding business outcomes
  • Excellent Time Management skills in prioritizing IT Service Improvement Projects and Day-to-Day IT Operations
  • Ability to work with colleagues across organizational and cultural boundaries to drive best outcomes
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage measurement metrics given a strong understanding of the business supported and the corresponding expected business outcomes.
  • Willing to work onsite or remotely on an on-call capacity 24/7.
  • Travel (mostly domestic) as needed in order to get things done

About the Team The QuadX Business Information Xervices (BIX) Team is part of the information technology department called Xervice Innovation within QuadX. We are composed of highly motivated technology leaders who strive to deliver best-in-class IT Operations services in support of the company’s mission and vision to significantly improve and innovate the experience of eCommerce in the Philippines while at the same time build Futurepreneurs. Delivering Technology Services and Solutions, the BIX team manages enabling capabilities for our business through management of Logistics IT Operations Infrastructures and Platforms, and managing key business development and expansion projects covering merchant integration and opening new logistics serviceable locations. We strive to run an IT ecosystem that is business responsive, sufficiently secure, resilient, available, performant, and usable.
