Job Description

Desktop Support EngineerProvides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Responds to
queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolate problem and determines and implement solution. Maintains computer
desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions,
and conduct face-to-face/onsite support. Also includes administration and internal support of personal
computers, printers, servers and related equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides onsite support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
  • Monitors and responds quickly and effectively to requests
  • Identify and organize tickets according to priority
  • Sets and loads computer equipment with required items and prepare it for operation
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and corrects them as directed by computer operation manuals, or supervisor
  • Maintains daily performance of computer systems
  • Responds to queries either in person, remote or over the phone
  • Follow up with customers/clients to ensure issue has been resolved
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Inventory and Asset Management
  • Ensures accurate and precise data entry into the tracking system
  • Maintain good working relationship within the organization.
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls, procedures and SLA.
  • Strive for high level customer service
  • Maintain knowledge of computer logic in order to perform task listed under principal duties and responsibilities
  • Research hardware and software solutions for user requests based on best performance/pricing considerations
  • Conducts or participates to assigned projects that could be related to Asset and Preventive, Deployment and Migration Activities and among other similar or related activities
Job Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any IT Related Course
  • Must have at least 1yr experience in similar role
  • Preferably with motorcycle (NOT Required)
  • Open to work on a shifting schedule
Job Type: Fixed term
Contract length: 12 monthsSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
