Job Description

Position: IT System Administrator Salary: $2,400 - $3,500 Working days: 5.5 day work week Location: 5 Changi South Street 3, Singapore 486117 JOB SCOPE:

• Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.

• Administration of Desktop, Server, Network Device (Firewall, Router & Switches), Printer & IT related equipment

• Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.

• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.

• Creating user accounts and performing access control from Navision System / Domain / In-house applications

• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.

• To ensure all backup schedules are running.

• To perform data recovery exercises monthly with the team.

• Provide end-user IT support for both local and remote locations daily to ensure smooth business operation

• Manage IT Asset Inventory

• Support in-house Applications

• Ad hoc duties/projects as and when required.

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or similar

• Good understanding of computer networks

• Minimum 2 years working experience in end-user desktop, networking, server, hardware, and software support

• Experience in managing VMWare platforms

• Familiar with all Microsoft products: Windows O/S, Office, SQL Database, Active Directory & Terminal Server

• Familiar with Veeam software and other backup tools and techniques

• Familiar with Fortigate or Cisco firewall/routers

• Ability to troubleshoot network, hardware, and software problems

• Knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
