The responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing faults, resolving network issues, and installing and configuring hardware and software.He/She should be technically skilled with excellent interpersonal skills. Technical Support Staff troubleshoots technical issues, provides timely customer feedback, and supports the roll-out of new applications, among other duties.Moreover, Technical Support Staff needs to talk to customers directly, as well as create written documentation, requiring excellent written and verbal communication.Responsibilities:

  • Identifies hardware and software solutions.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues.
  • Diagnoses and repairs faults.
  • Resolves network issues.
  • Installs and configures hardware and software.
  • Speaks to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
  • Provides timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Talks customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
  • Follows up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
  • Replaces or repairs the necessary parts.
  • Supports the roll-out of new applications.
  • Provides support in the form of procedural documentation.
  • Manages multiple cases at one time.
  • Tests and evaluates new technologies.
  • Conducts electrical safety checks on equipment.
  • Performs additional tasks that are related to the department.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software is a plus.
  • Knowledge in PHP, MYSQL/SQL, HTML/CSS
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in BPO is a plus.
  • Must be a Filipino citizen living in the Philippines.
Additional Requirements:
  • Stable internet connection and working computer since this is a work-from-home position.
