Intercompany Transactions: Handle Intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
General Ledger (GL) Schedules: Prepare GL schedules accurately and in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and Japanese accounting standards.
Month-end Close and Reporting: Collaborate closely with the Regional Accountants to complete month-end close and reporting tasks in a timely manner.
Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure transactions\' accuracy in accordance with IFRS, local FRS, Japanese accounting standards, and compliance with internal policies.
Other APAC region AP & other function support as assigned: Handle Accounts Payable and other function in other APAC regions, as required, and provide support to regional teams in maintaining accurate financial records.
Communication: Effectively communicate with Japanese vendors, regional teams, and other stakeholders in both English and Japanese.
Requirements:
Degree / ACCA / Diploma in Accountancy related qualifications
Proficient in SAP
At least 2-3 years AP regional accounting experience (handling local & overseas subsidiaries) preferably in corporate MNCs
Able to speak and write in fluent Japanese (preferably JLPT N2 & above) as there is a need to work with Japanese speaking vendors, counterparts and stakeholders
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Meticulous in handling financial data and capable of performing well under minimal supervision

Working Days/Hours: Mon - Fri, 830am to 530pm
Location: Near One North MRT
6 months renewable contract (depending on performance/business needs)
