Strategic planning for organic and inorganic business development for countries in APAC, including development and implementation of annual business plans and medium-long term business plan.
Budget management, resource control, performance assessments of branches/offices, network strategy in APAC.
Supervising, developing and managing basic business policies, measures, business plans etc. in conjunction with branches/offices and subsidiaries in APAC
Develop and evaluate matters concerning joint ventures, capital participation, business alliances, etc. with financial institutions etc. in APAC.
Develop and facilitate plans for boosting of business promotion in APAC including but not limited to Transaction banking, Trade finance, Project finance, Product finance, Sales & Trading, collaboration and Wealth Management businesses.
Develop, supervise and enhance corporate communication, public relation and SDGs activities taken by branched/offices in APAC.
Collaborate with relevant departments in Head Office to efficiently enhance business and governance in APAC.
Develop team members\xe2\x80\x99 skill and motivate others to maximize the outcome of the team.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of Japanese Banking Law is highly desirable as the role needs to ensure that the Bank policies and strategies are in compliance of Japanese Banking Law.
Proficiency in Japanese as this role needs to needs to create regular reports to and liaise with Head Office as well as Japanese Financial Service Agency.
Experience in Business plannning and formulation of strategy in the Banking sector.
Able to organise, project manage and be strategic
Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to lead and inspire
