What the role is:The Senior Manager / Manager (Corporate Planning) is part of the Corporate Planning team driving corporate planning process and providing secretariat duties to the Board and Senior Management meetings in PUB. In the course of your work, you will need to work closely with PUB\'s senior management, as well as peers from various departments, ministries and statutory boards, to achieve the above outcomes.What you will be working on:The Corporate Planning team\'s responsibilities include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Driving and promoting strategic oversight and alignment of PUB\'s corporate plans, targets and progress internally towards identified corporate outcomes, and externally with broader Whole-of-Government objectives \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviewing and monitoring PUB\'s corporate key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets \xe2\x80\xa2 Driving and shaping initiatives across departments for alignment towards shared corporate goals \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicating organisation\'s strategies and initiatives to staff through organisation townhall events, organising of awards and other communication channels \xe2\x80\xa2 Curating and facilitating leadership at Board for effective governance and oversight \xe2\x80\xa2 Serving as the point of contact with Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment for coordinated agency efforts within and across ministries As a Senior Manager/Manager (Corporate Planning), your job role will include, but are not limited to the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Corporate Planning i. Drive the strategic planning process to identify key trends and challenges as well as opportunities, and formulating strategies to enable PUB to deliver its mission amidst a constantly evolving operating environment ii. Support management in setting and tracking PUB\'s corporate direction, strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring organisational alignment to corporate objectives, partnering departments to coordinate their work plans and formulating overarching narratives for reporting to stakeholders through key channels iii. Plan and organise PUB\'s annual corporate planning exercises in alignment with PUB\'s strategic thrusts. This includes organising corporate-wide events such as management retreats, seminars and briefings, as well as the use of digital media, to cascade key information on corporate performance. iv. Track progress of work plans and support effects to improve and streamline existing management report tools. \xe2\x80\xa2 Corporate Performance Management i. Work with departments to gather, compile and report performance data on a regular basis ii. Monitor, review and analyse PUB\'s corporate performance, with a view to improve PUB\'s standing, for regular reporting to PUB Board and senior management iii. Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using Qlik Software iv. Use data insights to analyse trends and issues, and propose action plans or interventions to address/mitigate issues, identify opportunities or improve processes v. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate/report PUB\'s performance such as the Annual Report vi. Ensure senior management receives accurate performance data, trends and key highlights in a timely manner vii. Identify and coordinate the organisation\'s participation in suitable benchmarking exercises to identify gaps for improvement and learn from leading/best practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Secretariat Duties for meetings involving Senior Management and/or the PUB Board i. Ensure that the meetings are effectively organised (e.g. scheduling, managing the agenda and presentations) ii. Accurate recording of minutes and decisions taken at meetings. iii. Maintain effective corporate records and administration and uphold the legal requirements of governing documents iv. Stay updated on relevant developments and changes in statutory and regulatory obligations (for PUB Board) v. Provide support on administrative matters such as induction, farewell, logistics, and renewal of the Board.What we are looking for:
