-The Opportunity:Adecco is proud to collaborate with a global leader in semiconductor and electronics equipment manufacturing. This esteemed organization specializes in designing and producing state-of-the-art machinery essential for packaging and assembling components across key industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, and data storage.We are currently seeking a Junior Buyer to join their dynamic team. This role is open to candidates without prior experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong passion for the semiconductor industry to kickstart their careers.

• Work location: Serangoon
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Salary: up to $4,000 + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Utilize Oracle Applications Planners Workbench to evaluate planned orders and exception reports, ensuring accurate supply chain operations.
• Analyze and determine requirements for raw materials, equipment, and supplies to support production and internal customers.
• Coordinate and resolve technical issues between suppliers and engineering teams, addressing non-conformance with appropriate corrective actions.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, expedite materials as planned, and ensure alignment with quality and quantity standards.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, and quality teams to address procurement challenges, including payment, delivery, and compliance issues.
• Maintain detailed procurement records, including item costs, delivery schedules, product quality, and inventory status.

The Talent:

• Diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management with no expereince.
• Proficiency in ERP software, preferably Oracle Applications.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to solve practical problems and collaborate effectively across departments.
