Junior Network Engineer / Online Gaming (east)

Job Description
Our client is an online gaming company, one of the leading players in the gaming industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Junior Network Engineer to be part of their Network for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East.
Responsibilities of the Junior Network Engineer:
- Handle network management duties for corporate office and data centre.
- Ensure network availability and integrity.
- Ensure network architecture is secured.
- Pro-active monitoring of network performance on daily basis.
- Document changes made to the network (LAN & WAN) architecture.
- Manage and configure Cisco router and switches, Fortigate firewall.
- Liaising with vendor and internal team for service support, IT solution POC, evaluation and comparison.
- Network & server equipment installation and configuration.
- Install, configure and manage virtual servers and cloud services.
- Support regional IT requirements.
- Ready to standby for emergency.
- Minimum degree or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years working experience in network or technology environment
- Good understanding & knowledge of network & security industry best practices
- Preferably cisco certified
