  • As a Junior Research Executive/Research Executive, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients. Reporting to a senior researcher, and working alongside a team of insights professionals, you will deliver connected insights that empower our clients to drive success, and in doing likewise for YouGov.
  • Client retention and growth, team collaboration, and first-class delivery of insights are just some of our measures of success, and you will contribute to these metrics daily in your role.
  • You will work with our operations team to set up client research, create questionnaires, manage data collection, set up dashboards and aid with the production of reports, presentations, and data analysis, and manage a range of requests. You will learn to deliver key insights to our clients by understanding and implementing the principles and practical use of data analysis, ensuring accurate use of data.
  • You will be involved in day-to-day operations and will interface successfully with data processing, Operations, and Sales colleagues internationally to get things done to the highest standards.


Qualifications
Technical Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree qualified in a related discipline (e.g. Marketing, Management, Statistics, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, etc.)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in client-facing roles (e.g., in research, sales, hospitality, or retail) an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience analysing data and building reports (either in a prior job or at university preferred)
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency level in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail & good organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and a strong willingness to learn new tools and methods
  • Strong interpersonal skills – a good communicator, a strong team player and collaborator, and a self-starter
  • Well organised and the ability to prioritise and multi-task
