Our restaurant is looking for Junior Sous Chef to support the Head and Sous Chef delivering consistently high-quality food Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently offer friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all production items according to kitchen recipes and standards
Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in day-to-day work
Complete daily checks to ensure freshness and quality standards
Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimise wastage/spoilage
Have full knowledge of all production items
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Possess basic culinary skills
Possess food hygiene and safety certification
Available to work weekends, and holidays.
Positive, engaging personality, and team player spirit.
Strong task and time management abilities
Immediate start work
