This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors. Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes. The intern will be responsible in the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Support Investment team at Keppel Education Asset Fund (\xe2\x80\x9cKEAF\xe2\x80\x9d) in preparing financial models, internal presentations and papers for approvals. Opportunity to present to senior management of Keppel. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain and update KEAF internal database and Power BI as part of day-to-day operations. Prior knowledge of Power BI is not a necessity as the intern can learn on the job. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support in asset management work and investors\xe2\x80\x99 reporting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist to collate data and submit data for GRESB submission. Learning Outcomes: \xe2\x80\xa2 Learn how to evaluate education related deals (both OpCo and PropCo investment), conduct feasibility studies and use of analytics such as Power BI. Improve analytical skills; \xe2\x80\xa2 Improve communication skills (through presentation \xe2\x80\x93 both verbal and written); \xe2\x80\xa2 Learn about asset management in private fund; \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand the importance of ESG for fund management and what is important for GRESB submission; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Learn to be adaptable and work with different people within an organisation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 We are looking for an energetic and driven candidate with a strong interest in real estate investment; \xe2\x80\xa2 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate studying towards a degree in accountancy, finance, economics, real estate or another related subject. Master students can also apply; \xe2\x80\xa2 Keen interest in the real estate investment field and willing to learn; \xe2\x80\xa2 Team player; \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong excel modelling and analysis skill; \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication skills (both verbal and written); and \xe2\x80\xa2 Good analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
