Strategic Account Management: Oversee and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling LCL services to achieve growth targets.
New Business Development (40% Hunting): Actively prospect and acquire new customers by leveraging market knowledge and networking, ensuring a steady pipeline of business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of 7 members, setting clear performance goals, providing guidance, and coordinating efforts to achieve both individual and collective sales targets for the LCL shipping service unit.
The Successful Applicant
About 5 years of Sales/Key Account Management experience in the Logistics and Shipping industry, with a focus on LCL Shipping Services
Experience in managing a team, comprising of Commercial members covering both Indoor and Outdoor sales
Established industry network with strong connections with outdoor sales teams, shipping lines, and forwarding companies to leverage relationships for business growth.
Ability to meet or exceed sales volume targets, with a focus on driving incentives and achieving profitability goals.
